This was a Graphite commission as a 40th Birthday gift.  The couple had previously lived in New Zealand and the request was for a native New Zealand tree and bird.

This was a very personal piece to remember a very close friend and the good times they spent together.

This watercolour pencil drawing was requested by my cousin.  I had never drawn a bumblebee before but I fell in love with him when I drew it!  I now sell Limited Edition Prints of this illustration and £5 from the sale of each print goes to 'The Bumblebee Conservation Trust'.

The customer provided me with an old postcard from her brother, then pressed flowers were embroidered on top ensuring that important words on the postcard were still visible.  The flowers used were flowers she remembered growing in her garden as a child.  This was then mounted, signed and gifted to their mother.

This commission was created for a very special lady called Rose.
